Jared Scheinberg - NYC Comedian, Writer, Social Worker

“I love comedy and counseling because it provides people with a sense of relief. I want to really get in there and help you relieve yourself.”

Jared Scheinberg, born on Long Island (he has been trying to hide his accent since birf) acts, performs stand-up comedy, plays guitar and piano, writes screenplays and blog posts, and provides counseling services as a licensed clinical social worker.

Jared’s self-deprecating and off-beat humor has been performed throughout NYC, in such venues as The Stand and Eastville Comedy Club, as well as in Chicago, San Diego and LA. Jared has also written and performed for NYC sketch comedy group “Diaper Mafia” and the web series that he created, “The Clinic”. He once told jokes in a comedy club parking lot and considers that the time he “opened” for Seinfeld.
